The Orange Venetian Art Craft vase lamp is a rather unique member of the large vase lamps. For one thing it is the only 12 inch vase lamp not to have a gold band around the base, instead having a solid black band. It is also the only 12 inch vase lamp to be a solid color with no other artistic feature.
The 12 inch Orange Venetian Art Craft vase lamp is a clear vase with the orange paint applied to the inside of the vase before it is fired. The black paint that forms the band around the base is painted on the outside of the vase after it is fired with no other artistic design being applied to the lamp.
